Samantha Milles has spent the last 15 years working in and around government, with a career that has taken her from Parliament Hill to City Hall, the Alberta Legislature, and a provincial Crown agency.

Her career has given her a view of government from nearly every angle. She got her start in Ottawa as a legislative assistant to the Chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance before bringing that experience home to Alberta, with roles at Edmonton City Hall and as the first Director of Communications for the United Conservative Party Caucus. She later joined Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis as a senior stakeholder relations advisor.

In 2023, Samantha joined New West Public Affairs as a Senior Consultant where she brings sharp strategic instincts together with genuine strength in communications, media relations, issues management and stakeholder relations. She's valued for her ability to turn complicated information into clear, compelling narratives that shape opinion and build consensus. Her deep understanding of the regulatory landscape for gaming, liquor and cannabis allows her to advocate effectively and confidently for clients in those sectors. 

Samantha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alberta and lives in Edmonton with her husband and daughters.
